With roots in Africa, Eznat is passionate about improving and providing adequate housing and offers Master Planning and Project Management services for international projects. These vary from mass sites of affordable housing right through to bespoke, luxury properties.
Working with selected partners, we assemble the team to both fund and deliver projects in Western and Southern Africa.
Ghana
Since achieving independence there has been a significant housing shortage in Ghana.
A recent initiative to address this has identified the need to build 85,000 homes each year to meet its current housing demand. Efforts have been made to ramp-up housing provision for the working population and Eznat intends to play a role in that effort.
Eznat has worked closely with Government’s Chief Architect from the Ministry of Works and Housing to design properties that provide natural cross ventilation and to accommodate some of the cultural needs of everyday living in Ghana. The houses which have 2 and 3 bedrooms are set over 4 storeys with 16 units in each block.
Along with our partners, Eznat hopes to build 10,000 houses in 10 cities across Ghana after signing a contract with Ministry of Works and Housing. Depending on the extent of the pandemic, works are due to start later this year (2021).
Zimbabwe
Eznat and its partners are in the early stages of work to fund affordable housing for civil servants of the scientific research authority in Harare. Our partner in Zimbabwe - Architrave Design Group - will be the Architects and Project Managers who oversee the project. We are hoping to fund the construction of 2 and 3 bedroom homes, complete with solar power and solar hot water.
